Celebrate the Indian Festival with BurJuman

This October BurJuman is celebrating India’s colourful culture with the BurJuman Indian Festival. Taking place from 12 to 21 October, this 10-day celebration of Indian culture is filled with activities and events designed to entertain young and old alike.

City 101.6 RJs Malavika, Sid and Meghana will kick off celebrations with a special BurJuman roadshow from 5pm to 7pm on Friday 13 October. An afternoon filled with fun Indian themed games and exciting giveaways, the roadshow is set to get visitors and shoppers alike into the celebratory mood.

From 15 to 21 October the Mall’s Main Atrium will be a hive of activity with a range of exciting activities set to delight everyone. Open daily from 4pm to 10pm families can come down to the Mall’s colourful tent and unleash their creative side with pottery painting and Diya decoration or have their hands adorned with intricate and beautiful henna designs.

Closing out the 10-day celebration on 19, 20 and 21 October, shoppers and visitors will be treated to traditional dance performances nightly at 6pm and 8pm. Featuring two different traditional Indian dances, these shows are a fitting finale and are sure to entertain and delight.

Throughout the celebrations, customers and visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the beautiful decor located throughout the Mall. With plenty of selfie opportunities, these decorations are sure to get visitors in the mood to celebrate.

The BurJuman Indian Festival is on from 12 to 21 October 2017. Family activities will be on daily from 4pm to 10pm in the Mall’s Main Atrium from 15 to 21 October with traditional dancing performances on 19, 20 and 21 October at 6pm and 8pm.
