Celebrating the Dubai World Cup, the exhibition brings together styles from world renowned milliners and local designers.

Dubai’s premier hat event, the BurJuman International Millinery Exhibition is back for 2017. Running from 16th to 24th March, the event features more than 500 fabulous fascinators, hats and headpieces to inspire the region’s fashion forward fashionistas ahead of the 2017 Dubai World Cup.

Crowing the heads of the region’s race-going fashionistas for sixteen years, this year’s exhibition will bring together some of the world’s most coveted milliners in one location.

This year’s exhibition welcomes back some of the exhibitions most popular milliners, known for making waves in the glamorous world of hat making. Returning milliner, Melbourne-based Liza Georgia Millinery, is known for her feminine and exuberant designs, infused with 40s and 50s glamour. Liza’s designs have been featured in the Design Style Stakes top 10 since 2011.

Newcomer, Australian Cynthia Jones-Bryson, is an award-winning milliner, known for her unique style. Winner of the 2015 Emirates Melbourne Cup Carnival Millinery Award, her creations are statement pieces, for women with a well-honed sense of style who use every occasion to express it.

Other names to watch out for at the exhibition include Designs by Christiane. Returning for her eighth appearance at the BurJuman International Millinery Exhibition, her unique collection has been described as an explosive collection of feather hats and headpieces. Also back for their fifth year, Nigeria’s hottest milliner and millinery mogul, ITAM by King’s Signature, will bring their signature style of mild drama, elegance and creativity to the exhibition with a collection which will make a statement on race day.

Completing this year’s line-up of world renowned milliners is Marilena Romeo Millinery. With a passion for hats and glamour, award winning milliner Marilena Romeo, has been creating wearable works of art for more than two decades. Stretching he boundaries of millinery with her eclectic style, Marilena’s designs are set to turn heads on race day.

Dubai’s fashion-forward fashionistas searching for their World Cup ensemble are spoiled for choice at BurJuman this racing season. With a wide selection of well-known international brands and top local retailers, there is something to suit every style, and budget.

Located in the Main Atrium, the BurJuman International Millinery Exhibition is open daily from 10am to 10pm and will run from 16th to 24th March, 2017. Roaming performers will entertain and delight shoppers throughout the mall at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm on 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th March.
